As we all know, newspapers are a great source of up to date information. Whereas you are researching some issue for your personal project or just want to know what is going on in your home country, newspapers can help you.

At Westminster library we subscribe to the following newspapers:
Daily Telegraph (Monday to Friday)
El Pais (weekly)
Herald Tribune (Monday to Friday)
Times (Monday to Friday)
Independent( Monday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Guardian (Tuesday and Friday)
TES( Friday)
Economist (weekly)

We also have a newspapers cuttings file. We scan the newspapers that we recieve and look for pertinent articles and then file them in the appropriate folder. The articles are kept up to a maximum of two years. You can dowload a list of the topics here.

However, if you prefer to an online access to newspaper articles, Westminter library subscribes to a current affairs database called Global Newsbank. There you can find information on economics, politics, business, history, science and the environment and current affairs.
