In this example, two additional scenes have been added to the Trebuchet Animation. The first uses the nested animation technique to create wheels that roll as the object is tweened onto centre stage. A Final Scene shows the path (a motion guide) of missile in the air.

Scenes can be added throught the Insert Menu.

Notice how silence and pauses in movement have been used to hold your curiosity. Additionally, low camera angles and the occasional close up bring you close to the action. It easy to see how this was clearly storyboarded. Download file.

We have discussed the Plasticine Stop Frame genre and looked at anthropomorphism.

A good example are the series of Creature Comforts films by Aardman Animation.

Their site includes some examples of scenes from their animation series as well as documentary footage of how the films were made.

You'll be using a program called I Can Animate.

If you need to be convinced of what you can do with something as simple as Lego, have a look at either Oblong Pictures or Brick Films.

Additional reference is included in the extended text. The most essential command is to use Secure Shell to access the remote machine. The syntax for this is :

ssh username@ipaddress

For example, when a user (sally) wants to connect to a machine with the IP address 10.10.0.5, the command is:

ssh sally@10.10.0.5
